Data about new incidents are added to the Crime Data Explorer on the 15th of the following month. Once published, all data are updated on a daily basis. A CSV file containing all public data is available for download using the link below. The file contains following elements:

| Agency ORI | The National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Originating Agency Identifier (ORI) is a unique, nine-character number that identifies each reporting agency. |
| Agency Name | Name of the reporting agency. |
| Assisted | Agency that assisted the originating agency with the active pursuit of the vehicle. Does not include agencies who participated in ways other than pursuing the vehicle such as deploying stop sticks, covering a perimeter or involved in a foot pursuit after the vehicle has stopped. |
| Initiated | Agency that initiated the pursuit of the vehicle. |
| Total Agency Involved Pursuits | Total pursuits where agency was either assisting and initiating. |
| Vehicles Pursued | Total number of vehicle pursued. |
| Average Time Involved in Pursuit (minutes) | Average length of time the officer participated in the pursuit. Begins when they start the pursuit and ends when the vehicles stop. |
| Average Miles Covered | Average distance the officer/agency participated in the pursuit. |
